A Record Breaking Night

Last night, we had 55 students at Nitro and 57 students at Fusion: that total (112) is the highest student weekend attendance we have ever recorded!

September is always a "big" time of the year for student ministries (and churches) across the country because of the back-to-school rhythm our culture follows. But the exciting part about this number is that it is 13 students higher than our kickoff night on September 7th, and 4 students higher than last week on September 14th.

We are praying that this means there is a growing momentum of student attendance and life-change through NYM! This growth is the result of students living Pi2 lives and inviting their friends and classmates to Nitro and Fusion. Keep praying that we'd get to watch these students grow and develop through these awesome environments.

Ultimately, numbers aren't everything. But we do believe that numbers represent people. And people matter to God. So we want to take a hard look at numbers so that we can steward the opportunities God gives us to point students to Jesus!

Maybe your student came home with a baptism packet last night..

That's fantastic! We'd encourage you to help your student along in this process and familiarize yourself with their next steps. Let us know how we can help.

Maybe your student didn't come with with a baptism packet last night...

...but you wish they had. You can still access that same information HERE and give your student a personal prompting to start the process! You'll be surprised at the influence you can have if you let your child know that you would be excited to see them take next steps on their spiritual journey!

Check back later this week for information about the third installment of our series The Journey: Part 2!
