Greg Harrison Memorial Blood Drive

Give the Gift of Life

Mark and Debbie Harrison are part of the Northridge Church family who have found a unique and powerful way to turn a heart-breaking situation into a life-giving one.

In 2003, at the age of 11, Mark and Debbie's son Gregory passed away from complications surrounding a bone marrow transplant and Leukemia. It was from the pain of this tragic event that the Harrison's developed the idea of honoring Greg's memory by creating an annual memorial blood drive. Each year in January (Greg's birthday was January 20th), this blood drive serves as a memorial to Greg's life, but also as a life-giving campaign that has grown into Monroe County's largest private blood drive. To date, since its beginning in 2005, this yearly blood drive has collected a total of 1198 units. In terms of impact, that's 3594 lives touched by this single drive!

Northridge Church is proud to host this event at the Irondequoit Campus Gym from 7:30am-3:00pm, this Saturday, January 31st.

We'd love to see students and families get involved in this unique and powerful means of serving the immediate needs of others! This process does not take very long, and its impact on the lives of others could not be more tangible or practical. Why not come as a family or as a Small Group give the gift of life together?

Will you add to the growing number of lives impacted in Greg's memory?
