This Sunday night is the last "normal" night of Nitro and Fusion for the school year! (Yes, You can begin your tears of sadness now). June 7th will be a standard night of Youth Group, and then on June 14th we'll have our Student Baptism Service (followed by dinner for all). On the 21st of June we will be taking Father's Day Off, and then on the 28th we launch into NYM Summer Nights! (Expect to hear more about the summer schedule in the coming weeks!)
In Nitro, we're really changing it up! We are doing our own, "Nitro Night Of Worship" that will be lead by almost all student band featuring students from every grade. We'll have some cool videos, we'll celebrate the 8th graders moving up, and take a look at God's Word in the midst of all these elements. To close out the school year right, we're going to have an interactive station for student to write Pi2 names so that leaders and other students can join them in prayer throughout the summer for those who are far from God!
In Fusion, we'll be wrapping up our series Hooked. Last week we talked about how every temptation has a hook, and so we need to learn to Look for the Hook if we're going to beat temptation. This week, we'll be discussing how to go beyond the idea of just "not sinning" and intentionally choose to start doing something that would please God. We can't wait to help students jump into Summer with their radars up for how to beat temptation and please God!
We can't wait to see you and your family at the Student Baptism Service!
