Last week was our first ever CREW NIGHT and it was amazing! Your students had the opportunity to learn about what intentional friendships could and should look like. Here are some of the things they learned from part one of our series:
There is a difference between interacting and relating - deeper relationships call for vulnerability and honesty
The lies we believe and give into - distrust, division, and denial - will keep us in places of loneliness and isolation
God wants to show himself to us through others - that is why we desire and need good, godly relationships
Your students left challenged to think about what God has to say when it comes to healthy friendships.
This week during crew night, looking at Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, we will be learning about God’s design for friendship by unpacking the CHARACTERISTICS of a good friend and the BENEFITS that come from Godly friendships.
Encouragement and Challenge:
Pray that your student would:
- Develop friendships that remain and encourage them during hard times
- Value accountability
- And seek out godly influences
Thank you so much for praying for MORE and BETTER in your students lives.
