TONIGHT, we jump right back into our Philippians series and we are excited. Joe and Graham will be teaching us the importance of having a Christ-like mind. They will help us understand that whether we’re hiking in the desert for 40 years like the Israelites, missing our father in the faith like the Philippians, be in a situation at home that we might not want to be in, or are really frustrated with school, or NYM--it doesn’t have to affect our beliefs--attitude--actions because our mindset is correct--when we have the mind of Christ.
BOTTOMLINE: Having the mind of Christ produces a spirit of unity with others and humility in us.
In your own words, what is the mind of Christ?
Do you tend to think super negatively about things?
What are some of the distractions that keep you from having the mind of Christ?
How can I help/support you change the way you think about things?
